Czech writes: ""The author, a renowned writer, sportsman and British diplomat, describes various types of game and hunting conditions in Mozambique primarily north of the Zambesi River. He includes his own hunts after elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, hippo and a variety of antelope. With lengthy chapters on equipment, game preserves and the tsetse fly."" There is moderate cover wear with slight rippling on the front and back covers. The endpapers show some browning and there are just a few spots of foxing throughout the book. The hinges are tight and the gilt lettering on cover and spine are bright and intact. There are two bookplates and a blind stamp on the front endpapers. A scarce early work on hunting in Portuguese East Africa. Very Good.  ID#: 3327
