"T30491" Privately printed 1946, first and only edition, 4to, 124 pages, illustrated with B & W photographs.Heller writes ""Hunting, fishing and camping at Hudson Bay, Alaska, the Candian Rockies and numerous other places. With brief chapters on trout fishing on the Nipigon, caribou hunting at Lake Nipigon, salmon and other fishing in Alaska, moose hunting at Onaping and Moosenbek lakes. Duck and goose shooting in North Dakota. Duck shooting in Louisiana and Arkansas, etc. The initial chapter, the title story, describes the Canadian type cabin that was built inside the author's home of French design. It had all the internal features of a cabin such as a stone fireplace, a slate floor, a rough pine ceiling with handmade nails. log slabbed walls chinked with cement."" Bud fought in three wars and was a retired brigadier general. He went to Yale where he was given all-American honors in 1913 as a member of Walter Camp's first team. In 1914, he was named captain of the Yale team. Bud led Yale to victory over Notra Dame ending the Fighting Irish 27 -game undefeated streak.He later was head coach of the University of Dayton football team. Bud was a close friend of Croil Hunter, the second president of Northwest Airlines. The book is inscribed as follows; ""To Croil, a real shooting partner!
