Green decorated cloth with black lettering and drawing on front cover. Pictorial endpapers. This is the story of one of the authors trips to Africa accompanied by her daughter. (Alice later became Alice Sheldon (aka science fiction writer James Tiptree Jr.) Bradley wrote several books on adventure and hunting in Africa. Many adventures with elephants, giraffes, etc. B&W plates accompanied by numerous sketches by Alice throughout.Externally, the book is tight, clean and Fine. Internally there is a small bookseller's sticker at the bottom of the pastedown. There is an inked gift inscription near the top of the pictorial endpaper and one small ink smudge on the lower portion. None interfere with the pictorial portions Overall a Very Good copy of a relatively scarce book.  ID#: 4532
